ARCOlisboa 2026 Announces Opening and Archipelago of Art Histories Sections Featuring 17 International Galleries
ARCOlisboa has detailed the programming for its 2026 edition, highlighting the 'Opening' section curated by Sofia Lanusse and Diogo Pinto featuring 17 galleries from Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The fair will also present 'Archipelago of Art Histories,' a section focused on artists like Josep Grau-Garriga, Irene Chou, and Tsherin Sherpa who engage with traditional craft and inherited cultural lineages. Participating galleries include Plato, Espacio218, Vision Art Platform, and Salón Silicón, representing cities such as Lisbon, Istanbul, Mexico City, and Bogota.
