The Role
The Marketing Manager for Global Marketing will support marketing initiatives that are deemed to be global and sit largely outside regional marketing at Christie’s. These will include some of our separate business units, for example Christie’s Art Finance, Private Sales and the relationship with Christie’s International Real Estate, as well as annual projects such as Restitution and Responsible Culture. In addition, the Marketing Manager will drive one-off global projects that support all regions.
This role is responsible for the development, management and implementation of successful and innovative multi-channel global marketing campaigns, while ensuring both departmental and brand objectives and targets are met/exceeded. Highly collaborative, this role partners with the Global Creative, Content, Press and Digital teams as well as external agencies, where appropriate.
The role
will also work closely with Client Insight, Business Intelligence and CRM to ensure all campaigns are data based and tracked. Specific duties &
responsibilities
will include but are not limited to Work proactively with marketing leadership, and other relevant leaders, to proactively identify initiatives that should be global and will need that approach for marketing support. Accountable for developing and executing an effective marketing strategy to support projects that are deemed to be global to deliver against targets and objectives driving brand awareness, audience engagement, revenue growth and innovation. Drive best practices strategy and successful collaboration with cross-functional teams including communications, creative, digital and content. Create and execute integrated and innovative marketing campaigns across channels, including creative, content, email, social media, digital advertising, direct mail, email, digital advertising, website, proposals, exhibition, and events.
Define campaign pillars, objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns. Track performance metrics to optimize campaign and inform decisions. Lead the marketing briefing process and produce written briefs for all campaigns. Ensure key messages, marketing objectives and targets are delivered via strategic, effective and creative campaigns with best practices by channel.
Lead post-campaign reporting and debriefing process. Create a report for each campaign with benchmarks and analytics. Presenting results to CMO and communicating clear learnings and informed strategy. Manage the global marketing budget and financial processes including raising purchase orders, ensuring marketing activity is within the agreed budget and ensuring supplier invoices are processed as required.
The Candidate Deep passion and interest in arts and culture and relevant preferable
experience
in marketing these areas. Demonstrable
experience
- of managing marketing campaigns within the luxury markets.
- Exceptional taste and eye for detail.
- Strong interest in cultural moments, both relevant to the arts, but also across sustainability, diversity and inclusion and pop culture.
- Solid understanding of high-end aesthetics and design.
- Ability to manage the successful implementation of complex multi-channel marketing strategies under strict time constraints.
- Previous
experience
- in managing and implementing a broad range of evidence-based global marketing campaigns.
- A natural collaborator able to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong project management

Highly organized and efficient – demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise.
