Duties
AND RESPONSIBILITIES \n \n \n Liaising between all internal departments regarding the arrival of works, condition issues, installation specifics and cataloguing \n Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure pack-up and transfer of works to our London gallery is completed safely and to deadline \n Ensuring all works are prepared and ready for display and organize the safe pack-up, storage and transfer of works to the warehouse after the sale \n Assisting with planning and managing the installation of exhibitions and subsequent changes required during the exhibition period and on sale days \n Providing technical assistance for the relevant department as necessary during each sale / exhibition \n Maintain a clean and safe working environment \n Ensure the efficient use of all packing materials and supplies \n Act as an additional point of contact for freelance technicians working at the London gallery \n Performing any other ad hoc

and ability to communicate in a professional manner with a wide variety of \n Proficient IT

including Microsoft Office, as well as an aptitude for learning and troubleshooting Phillips’ inventory software. \n Ability to work under pressure maintaining attention to detail. \n Flexibility to work at weekends and evenings when required. \n \n \n \n EDUCATION AND TRAINING \n \n \n Proven
experience
of handling art in a safe and professional manner is essential \n Art Education in History of Art or a related subject is desirable \n IPAF license is desirable \n PASMA certificate is desirable \n First aid certificate is desirable \n Willingness to undertake relevant training courses is essential \n \n \n \n WORKING CONDITIONS \n \n \n Work is primarily undertaken in our auction house/gallery in Mayfair \n Work will also occasionally be undertaken at our warehouse in Mitcham and other European galleries and offices \n
