The Facts
The Fondation Louis Vuitton will reopen on October 9, 2026, with “Gustave Fayet, Collectionneur - Créateur. Icônes de l’art moderne,” an exhibition devoted to the collector and artist Gustave Fayet (1865-1925). The show brings together more than 250 works from Fayet’s dispersed collection and 325 of his own creations, most never shown publicly and restored for the occasion, with loans from 64 international institutions and 71 private collections. It includes 10 paintings by Vincent van Gogh, 78 works by Paul Gauguin, 88 works by Odilon Redon, and pieces by Degas, Cézanne, Toulouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Morisot, Signac, Bonnard, Vuillard and Matisse. The exhibition runs through March 8, 2027.
