Getty Museum Launches West Hollywood Photo Series Marking Pride Month
June 10, 2026, the Getty Museum published a new series of photographs from its collection exploring West Hollywood through historical and cultural moments. Images include John Humble’s 1991 chromogenic print of 617 Huntley Drive, Lauren Greenfield’s 2010 pigment print of Selena Gomez, George Rodriguez’s 1966 gelatin silver print of Sunset Strip Riots, Greg Gorman’s 1980s print of Holly Woodlawn, Loretta Ayeroff’s 1976 portrait, Robert Mapplethorpe’s 1983 print of a Richard Pryor billboard, and Julius Shulman’s 1960 photograph of Case Study House No. 22.
