On September 16, 2026, the Guggenheim Museum in New York announced the ongoing performance series 'Alex Da Corte: ROY G BIV', a video installation in which Da Corte transforms into characters including Marcel Duchamp, Rrose Sélavy, the Joker from Tim Burton's 1989 film Batman, and one half of Brancusi's 'The Kiss'. Once a month, the artist's brother Americo Da Corte, a professional housepainter, paints a cube in the colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet as part of a live performance.
