Lehmann Maupin Now Represents Madrid-Based Sculptor Teresa Solar Abboud

Lehmann Maupin announced its representation of Madrid-based artist Teresa Solar Abboud (b. 1985), whose practice spans sculpture, drawing, and video. Her work explores fiction, natural history, ecology, and the tension between organic and synthetic forms. Solar Abboud participated in the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022, curated by Cecilia Alemani, and had solo exhibitions at CA2M in Madrid and MACBA in Barcelona in 2024, accompanied by her first monograph. A site-specific commission for the High Line in New York was unveiled in 2024, and her traveling solo exhibition 'Bird Dream Machine' was on view at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin through October 2025. Lehmann Maupin will present a focused preview of her work in New York in April 2026, followed by her inaugural solo exhibition with the gallery in London in September 2026, marking her first solo show in the city. The gallery will collaborate with her Madrid-based gallery Travesía Cuatro.
