Artist Kelly Akashi has been selected to create a site-specific sculpture for the grounds of the new Williams College Museum of Art. The work will be installed in the museum's east meadows in late 2027 to coincide with the institution's building opening. Akashi will collaborate with architects and the campus community throughout 2026 to develop the botanical and geological-themed project.
