Lisson Gallery to Host Lubaina Himid and Magda Stawarska for London Gallery Weekend

Lisson Gallery will present a conversation between artists Lubaina Himid and Magda Stawarska, moderated by Rosie Cooper, on June 5, 2026. The event coincides with London Gallery Weekend and features a new iteration of the installation 'Zanzibar' (1999-2023). The work combines nine diptychs painted by Himid in 1999 with a 38-minute sound libretto composed by Stawarska in 2023.
