M+ Announces Cinema Spring Edition Featuring Restored Classics and Ryuichi Sakamoto Tribute
M+ museum in Hong Kong has unveiled its Cinema Spring Edition running from April to June 2026, featuring the world premiere of the newly restored 1992 film Cageman by Jacob Cheung. The program includes a tribute to the late composer Ryuichi Sakamoto with screenings of High Heels and The Adventures of Chatran, alongside documentaries of performance works by Korean artist Lee Bul. The season also features the Asian Avant-Garde Film Festival from May 29 to 31, 2026, and works by directors Hou Hsiao-hsien and Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
