Artist Michael Craig-Martin has been commissioned by Vintage Classics, an imprint of Penguin Random House, to design nine book covers for the Shakespeare Retold series. The project features contemporary authors reimagining William Shakespeare's plays, with Craig-Martin providing cover art in his signature minimalist style. The series utilizes the artist's depictions of everyday objects to illustrate the fictionalized versions of the iconic plays.
