On September 22, 2026, Christie's announced it will offer The Collection of Herbert Lust during New York's Fall Marquee Week of Sales. The collection is led by Alberto Giacometti's bronze "Figure, demie grandeur (no. 2)", estimated at $20–30 million, one of the earliest full standing bronzes from the post-war period. Other highlights include Frank Stella's 1962 painting "Les Indes Galantes", one of four large-scale Mitered Squares from that year, and works by Alexander Calder, Yves Tanguy, Roberto Matta, Sol LeWitt, and Robert Indiana. The collection is expected to realize in excess of $50 million across sales in New York, London, and Paris.
Herbert Lust's collection, anchored by a rare Giacometti bronze, offers a focused market test for Post-War European sculpture during New York's Marquee Week.
