Pulitzer Arts Foundation and Cooper Hewitt Announce Major Olga de Amaral Retrospective
The Pulitzer Arts Foundation and Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, will co-organize a retrospective of Colombian artist Olga de Amaral featuring 130 works spanning 65 years. The exhibition, titled 'Olga de Amaral: Weaving the Infinite', will open at the Pulitzer in St. Louis on September 10, 2026, before traveling to Cooper Hewitt in New York in April 2027. Curated by Stephanie Weissberg and Christina L. De León, the show marks the most comprehensive examination of the artist's contributions to fiber arts and design to date.
