Serpentine Galleries Launches Park Nights 2026 with Performances by Sophia Stel, Chanel Beads, Ebun Sodipo, Shala Miller
Serpentine Galleries has announced Park Nights 2026, an experimental live programme of performances inside the 25th Serpentine Pavilion, designed by the LANZA atelier of Isabel Abascal and Alessandro Arienzo. The series will feature four artists across five dates: Sophia Stel on July 10, Chanel Beads on July 17, Ebun Sodipo on September 25, and Shala Miller on October 2 and 3, all at 8pm at Serpentine South. The programme spans pop music, performance installations, and poetry, inviting audiences to engage with the pavilion as a performance space.
The Signal
Park Nights continues Serpentine's tradition of integrating live art with its annual architectural commission, offering a platform for interdisciplinary artists. The 2026 edition highlights the pavilion's role as a site for experimental performance, aligning with broader trends in institutional programming that foreground ephemeral, site-specific works. For collectors and curators, the series underscores the value of live events in building audience engagement and supporting emerging voices in contemporary art.
