Tate Britain Announces Major 1990s Art and Fashion Survey Curated by Edward Enninful
Tate Britain will stage the first major exhibition exploring the intersection of British art, photography, and fashion during the 1990s, opening in October 2026. Curated by Edward Enninful OBE, the survey will feature over 100 works by nearly 70 artists and designers, including Damien Hirst, Alexander McQueen, and Tracey Emin. The exhibition will examine the rise of the Young British Artists (YBAs), the 'anti-fashion' grunge movement, and the influence of subcultures such as acid house and jungle.
