Tate Modern will present an extensive survey of Australian artist Emily Kam Kngwarray from July 10, 2025, to January 11, 2026, marking her first major solo exhibition in Europe. Organized in collaboration with the National Gallery of Australia, the exhibition features over 80 works including batiks, textiles, and monumental acrylic paintings such as 'The Alhalker Suite' (1993). The survey traces Kngwarray’s career from her early batik work at Utopia Station to the gestural canvases produced before her death in 1996.
