Museum Victoria and Albert Museum

The Victoria and Albert Museum has received a £4 million funding commitment from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to redesign its South Asia Gallery, scheduled to reopen in Spring 2028. The project will feature rare objects not displayed for generations alongside new contemporary acquisitions and commissions supported by the Durjoy Bangladesh Foundation. The redesigned space will explore colonial history and provenance while being co-developed with South Asian diasporic communities.
