Yto Barrada Selected to Represent France at the 2026 Venice Biennale
The Institut Français has appointed artist Yto Barrada to represent France at the 61st Venice Biennale. The exhibition will be held at the French Pavilion in the Giardini from May 9 to November 22, 2026. Barrada was selected by a jury for a multidisciplinary practice that explores social sculpture, alternative pedagogies, and historical narratives.
