Aguttes announced it will auction the collection of African art assembled by Pierre Redouin, an engineer and École du Louvre graduate, on September 24, 2026, in Neuilly-sur-Seine. The collection spans more than 200 lots focusing on Central and West African art, including masks, ancestral figures, reliquaries, and ritual sculptures from the Fang, Punu, Songye, and other peoples. Notable works include a 20th-century Vili autopsy board with glass eyes and a Kwèlé ekuk mask with enveloping horns used in bwete rites. A portion of the collection was published in Redouin's 2012 book "Le Souffle des Esprits: Sacred Art of the Ogôoué Basin."
