Fair ARCO Madrid Jun 08, 2026

ARCOlisboa, Portugal’s leading international contemporary art fair, will hold its ninth edition at the Cordoaria Nacional in Lisbon. The General Programme will bring together national and international galleries selected by the Organising Committee. The fair will also feature the Opening Lisboa section curated by Sofía Lanusse and Diogo Pinto and the special project Archipelago of Art Histories led by Cosmin Costinaș. ARCOlisboa will run from May 28 to 31 2026.

The Signal

The ninth edition reinforces Lisbon’s role as an international meeting point for collectors and professionals in the contemporary art market. Curated programmes focused on African territories and diaspora alongside new artistic languages provide targeted discovery opportunities for gallerists and curators. The fair’s structure of a professional preview day followed by public access supports established networking patterns in the European contemporary sector.
