Bonhams will stage three landmark Chanel auctions across New York, Paris, and London in September 2026, celebrating the house's craftsmanship and legacy. The New York sale, 'Chanel: From the Vault II,' runs September 7–17 with an exhibition from August 17 to September 2 at Bonhams' U.S. flagship at 111 West 57th Street. The Paris edition, featuring 400 pieces spanning Karl Lagerfeld's 1990s designs through Virginie Viard's contemporary creations, takes place September 14–24. The London edition follows September 21–October 1. The top lot across the sales is a Chanel bird cage minaudière from Viard's Pre-Fall/Winter 2020 Métiers d'Art collection, estimated at US$20,000–30,000. Other highlights include a wicker CC filigree vanity case (US$8,000–12,000) and a green mohair tweed evening jacket (US$4,000–6,000), both by Lagerfeld.
