On August 4, 2026, the J. Paul Getty Museum announced a selection of photographs from its collection that capture Malibu's evolution into an international surfing destination.

Hauser & Wirth will open a new gallery in Palo Alto in a historic post office building at 201-225 Hamilton Avenue. The 2,600-square-foot space includes a bookshop and will host exhibitions, events and talks. It will be designed by architect Luis Laplace and is scheduled to open in Spring 2026.
