Tate Modern has released a statement from Interim Director Catherine Wood mourning the death of artist Julio Le Parc. Wood described Le Parc as the grandfather of interactive art and a pioneer of immersive practices through his kinetic sculptures and techniques with light and movement.
Tate Modern will present a solo exhibition of works by Julio Le Parc from June 11, 2026 to March 5, 2027. The show is organized in association with George Economou Gallery and takes place at the museum's Bankside location in London.
