Tate Modern has announced the death of Julio Le Parc, a central figure in the kinetic and interactive art movements. The Argentine-born artist, who was based in Paris, was known for his pioneering use of light, movement, and geometric abstraction over a seven-decade career. Tate Modern confirmed it will proceed with a planned exhibition of his work as a tribute to his legacy.
