Anahid Nersessian is an American academic and critic who serves as a Professor of English at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her career is defined by extensive contributions to literary criticism, having served as the poetry editor for Granta Magazine and publishing essays in outlets including The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, and The London Review of Books.
