On October 1, 2026, the Kunsthaus Zürich announced 'Maria Lassnig and Edvard Munch. Flow of Paint = Flow of Life', the first exhibition to directly relate the works of the Austrian painter Maria Lassnig (1919–2014) and the Norwegian artist Edvard Munch (1863–1944).
Kistefos Museum in Jevnaker, Norway, has unveiled a monumental bronze sculpture by Dana Schutz titled "Blind Boat." The work is Schutz's first outdoor sculpture at this scale, standing seven meters tall and weighing more than 12 tons.
