Bonhams set a new world auction record for a bottle of Japanese whisky on June 2, 2026, when a unique Yamazaki 50 Year Old sold for HK$8,250,000 in Hong Kong. The sale, which exceeded its high estimate of HK$4,200,000, also featured a Karuizawa 52 Year Old that realized HK$6,250,000.
