The Facts
Fondation Louis Vuitton will reopen on October 9, 2026, with "Gustave Fayet, Collector - Designer. Icons of Modern Art," an exhibition running through March 8, 2027. The show occupies all museum spaces and is presented in two parts, focusing on Fayet as both a collector and designer. It reunites more than 250 works from his collection, dispersed around the world, alongside 375 of his own creations, many never exhibited before and specially restored for the occasion. Highlights include 10 paintings by Vincent van Gogh, 78 works by Paul Gauguin, and 88 works by Odilon Redon, along with pieces by Edgar Degas, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, and others. The exhibition is made possible through collaboration with 64 international institutions and 71 private collections.
