Frieze London and Frieze Masters Return This October, with Art:LIVE Streaming Starting October 19
The Facts
Frieze London and Frieze Masters will return in October, with Art:LIVE streaming coverage beginning Sunday, October 19, 2026. The fifth edition of the fair (refering to the overall program that includes a focus on Asia) once again connects the global art world to that of Asia, with new curated sections and an expanded programme. Galleries from Biarritz, Dubai, Kolkata, Los Angeles, Stockholm and beyond will participate, alongside flagship events such as Máret Ánne Sara’s Hyundai Commission at the Tate Modern and the first British Museum Ball. Highlights include Glen Pudvine’s work in the Focus section and Vito Schnabel’s debut presentation at Frieze Masters, with the fair sponsored by Deutsche Bank.
The Signal
The fair reinforces London’s position as a global art hub, with a program that bridges contemporary and historical market segments. Vito Schnabel’s first appearance at Frieze Masters signals a growing convergence between primary-market galleries and the secondary market. The streaming coverage underscores the fair’s strategy to reach a broader audience, while the inclusion of a dedicated Asia-focused section reflects the increasing importance of cross-regional exchange in the art world.
