Gagosian will display a monumental collage banner by artist Derrick Adams on the facade of the Palazzetto dello sport Giobatta Gianquinto in Venice from May 4 to September 24, 2026. Curated by Francesco Bonami, the work titled 'Heavy is the head that wears the crown' (2026) depicts Koyo Kouoh, the curator of the 61st Venice Biennale who passed away in 2025.
