The Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice will host 'Leiko Ikemura: TransLucent - The Form of Light' from September 10 to November 22, 2026, as part of the ninth edition of Venice Glass Week. Supported by the Ikemura Foundation, the exhibition features glass sculptures created in Murano alongside the artist's paintings and drawings. The works will be installed throughout the museum's permanent collection galleries, creating a dialogue with historical masters including Titian, Carpaccio, and Canova.
