Hauser & Wirth Learning Partner Names Yvonne Jordan for Inaugural Slade Residency

Yvonne Jordan, a teacher and lead practitioner at Central Foundation Girls’ School in Tower Hamlets, London, has been named the inaugural recipient of the Slade Director’s Studio Summer Residency. The residency is part of a three-year partnership between Hauser & Wirth Learning and UCL Slade School of Fine Art, created for practising artists who teach in secondary schools. Jordan, whose practice uses photography and collage to explore identity and pedagogy, will receive a four-week residency beginning in late July 2026, providing dedicated studio space at the Slade and culminating in an open studio event in London.
