Hauser & Wirth Somerset Announces Return of Arthaus Youth Program and Education Lab
Hauser & Wirth Somerset runs Arthaus, an inclusive community for young people aged 15 to 19 who share a passion for art. Members meet on the first Wednesday of every month from 4:30 to 6 pm at the gallery. The program grants behind-the-scenes access, meetings with artists, curators and technicians, and opportunities to create responses to exhibitions through collaborative projects and online resources. Membership is free and open to those who are creative, curious or exploring their next steps.
The Signal
The monthly sessions at Hauser & Wirth Somerset allow participants to develop confidence and leadership skills while learning how galleries operate and how ideas become artworks. Contact with the Learning team at hwsomersetlearning@hauserwirth.com provides entry, and updates appear on the Arthaus Instagram account. Past projects include commissions such as 'This Is the Plan' with John Wood and Paul Harrison.
