Exhibition Lisson Gallery Mar 27, 2026

The Kunsthaus Graz presents the exhibition '30% Dandelion' from March 21 to November 8, 2026. The show brings together more than 25 contemporary artistic positions dedicated to the dandelion flower and its direct connection to humans, who share 30 percent of their genetic material with it. Spencer Finch, represented by Lisson Gallery and known for investigations into light, color, memory and perception, participates alongside the other artists. The works address themes of arrival, symbiotic cooperation and farewell through poetic, political and ecological approaches.

The Signal

The exhibition frames the dandelion as both a model of adaptive strength and a transcultural language in the tradition of floriography. For curators and collectors this signals sustained institutional focus on artists who connect perceptual research with ecological and symbolic content. Finch's inclusion alongside a large group of positions indicates the Kunsthaus Graz is positioning the project as a wide-ranging survey rather than a solo presentation.
