Lisson Gallery announced representation of the Estate of Mira Schendel in collaboration with Gomide & Co, São Paulo. In 2027, Lisson New York will present an extensive survey of the artist’s works on paper, including a never-before-seen series of drawings, and the gallery will also feature Schendel in a group exhibition this November. Luxembourg + Co., London, will present a solo show of her work alongside a presentation at Frieze Masters, marking her first London exhibition in over a decade following her 2013 retrospective at Tate Modern. The gallery also facilitated the acquisition of Schendel’s site-specific installation 'Still Waves of Probability' (1969) to Dia Art Foundation, New York, with the support of Ken Griffin.

This representation strengthens Lisson’s program in Latin American post-war art, building on its roster that includes Hélio Oiticica. The rare survey and the Dia acquisition signal growing institutional and market recognition of Schendel’s innovative use of paper, language, and site.
