M+ and Centre Pompidou announced a multi-year strategic partnership on August 31, 2026, formalizing a broad framework across joint curatorial research, exhibition development and sharing, co-commissions and artwork displays, and collection exchange. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Suhanya Raffel, Museum Director of M+, and Laurent Le Bon, President of Centre Pompidou, at M+ in Hong Kong. Highlights include a co-curated landmark exhibition featuring works from both collections, to be inaugurated at Centre Pompidou after its reopening and later presented at M+, as well as a series of exhibitions at M+ starting in 2027. The partnership is further strengthened by a four-year postdoctoral fellowship funded by the Huo Family Foundation, marking its first grant to M+ and first fellowship in the arts.
