The Museum of Modern Art has received a gift from the Legacy Emilio Ambasz Foundation to launch the Ambasz-MoMA Annual Prize for Nature-Reconciled Architecture. The award will grant $200,000 annually, with $100,000 designated for the architect and $100,000 for a non-profit organization to plant trees. The prize recognizes architectural projects completed within the last 30 years that demonstrate a joint relationship between the built and natural environments.
