MoMA and Legacy Emilio Ambasz Foundation Establish $200,000 Annual Architecture Prize
The Museum of Modern Art has received a gift from the Legacy Emilio Ambasz Foundation to launch the Ambasz-MoMA Annual Prize for Nature-Reconciled Architecture. The award will grant $200,000 annually, with $100,000 designated for the architect and $100,000 for a non-profit organization to plant trees in honor of the project's client. The inaugural prize, focusing on architectural projects completed within the last 30 years that integrate the built and natural environments, will be awarded in late 2026.
