Musée du Louvre to Host Cypriot Antiquities Exhibition in Partnership with Cyprus Ministry of Culture
The Musée du Louvre will present 16 loaned artifacts from the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus in its Department of Near Eastern Antiquities from February 11 to June 22, 2026. The exhibition, organized for the Cypriot presidency of the Council of the European Union, features Chalcolithic picrolite idols, Bronze Age copper ingots, and terracotta votive sculptures. Curated by Hélène Le Meaux, George Papasavvas, and Artemis Georgiou, the display includes a digital experience and a multimedia trail featuring Cypriot poetry and music.
