Exhibition Louvre

The Musée du Louvre, in partnership with the Musée Rodin, will host a comprehensive exhibition exploring the sculptural dialogue between Michelangelo and Auguste Rodin from April 15 to July 20, 2026. The exhibition features five thematic sections including marble, bronze, and plaster works alongside pictorial productions to examine how both artists used the human body to manifest inner energy. Curated by Chloé Ariot and Marc Bormand, the show marks the first time these two masters of Western sculpture have been brought together in a dedicated comparative study at the institution.
