Musée Maillol Launches 'Hypotheses and Demonstrations' Series Focused on Sculpture and Photography
An educational endowment fund based at the Musée Maillol is launching an annual series of Hypotheses and Demonstrations. The series invites museum professionals to share experiences, reflections and research with the public around a common theme. This inaugural event will be moderated by Nathalie Bondil, Romain Perrin, Hélène Pinet and Hélène Priego. The four professionals will lead a discussion on the theme “The Sculptor and the Photographer,” covering artists including Constantin Brancusi, Alberto Giacometti, Henri Matisse, Henry Moore and Auguste Rodin.
The Signal
The program consists of morning presentations and demonstrations followed by a roundtable discussion and sharing of experiences. Entrance is via the courtyard through the blue gate, where visitors must ring the bell for security. The initiative brings together individual and corporate patrons focused on sculpture in all forms and positions the Musée Maillol as a platform for professional exchange on the intersection of sculpture and photography.
