Otobong Nkanga Selected for 61st Venice Biennale by Curator Koyo Kouoh, Lisson Gallery Announces
Lisson Gallery announced that Otobong Nkanga has been invited to participate in the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia by curator Koyo Kouoh. Nkanga’s multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, installation, performance, photography, textiles and sculpture. Her work examines ecological themes of relationality and the relationships between bodies, territories, minerals and the earth.
