Sadie Coles HQ Announces Collaborative Video and Sound Exhibition at Fluentum Berlin
Demolition/Escape is on view at Fluentum in Berlin until July 25, 2026. The exhibition brings together three artists working in video and sound and features Tina Keane’s Escalator (1988), which has been fully restored and is exhibited for the first time in over thirty years. Newly commissioned works by Hilary Lloyd and James Richards are also included.
The Signal
The presentation of a restored 1988 video work next to new commissions underscores continued institutional attention to these artists’ shared themes of movement and media. For collectors and curators the show offers a concrete example of how historical video pieces are being reintroduced into active circulation. This approach reflects wider programming patterns that pair archival media art with contemporary production.
