Sharjah Art Foundation announced its autumn 2026 learning programme for art centres in Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid, Al Madam, Khorfakkan, Kalba and Dibba Al Hisn, offering free hands-on sessions in drawing, painting, ceramics, textiles, photography, sound art, storytelling and more. Led by specialised artists and practitioners, workshops draw inspiration from recent exhibitions, including Laila Majid and Inaam Zafar: Body Quotidian and Vantage Point 13. Community members contribute local knowledge, such as a fisherman in Al Hamriyah teaching traditional practices and a resident in Al Madam sharing textile crafts. The programme runs from September through November 2026, with most activities free and materials provided, conducted in Arabic and English for all ages.
