Storm King Art Center has announced 'Message from the Mud', a site-specific installation by Anicka Yi scheduled to run from May 17 through November 9, 2026. The project features an archaeological-style dig site with a central pool and columns containing microbial colonies sourced from the center's South Ponds. Organized by Nora Lawrence and Adela Goldsmith, the exhibition marks Yi's first major outdoor project and focuses on the microbiological portrait of the local landscape.
