Tate Britain and the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) have partnered to launch Creative Ground, a new learning programme for schools and young people, supported by a 10-year funding commitment from the Clore Duffield Foundation. The programme will be based in a purpose-built classroom within Tate Britain’s Clore Garden, designed by architecture studio Feilden Fowles and opening in Spring 2027. Workshops will be free to primary, secondary and SEND schools, with bookings opening on November 2, 2026, and the first sessions launching in the 2027 summer term, reaching over 600 young people each month. The garden, designed by Tom Stuart-Smith, will feature sustainable planting and a wildlife pond, enhancing biodiversity in Millbank.
