The sale is overseen by expert Charlotte Aguttes-Reynier, who specializes in Vietnamese and Chinese artists. Among the signatures sought are Nguyễn Gia Trí, Lê Phổ, Mai Trung Thu, and Victor Tardieu. The auction house is also highlighting a painting by Mai Trung Thứ acquired in the 1970s from the Moyon-Avenard Gallery in Nantes, a now-closed institution that represented avant-garde artists such as Bernard Buffet and Georges Mathieu alongside Indochina School painters.
