On October 22, 2026, Galerie Max Hetzler announced multiple permanent-collection acquisitions for artist André Butzer. Four works entered the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, a painting joined the University of California, Merced, and a recent 'Frauenbildnisse' was acquired by the Städel Museum in Frankfurt. Butzer's works are also held by the Hamburger Kunsthalle, where two large-scale canvases are on view, and his 2022 painting 'Untitled (Fränzi)' is now part of the permanent display at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid.
