On October 22, 2026, Galerie Max Hetzler announced that a recent reiteration of André Butzer's 'Frauenbildnisse' has entered the permanent collection of the Städel Museum in Frankfurt, and four works were acquired by the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. Butzer's painting Untitled (Fränzi), 2022, is now on display in the permanent collection of the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid. His works are also held in the permanent collections of the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the University of California, Merced, where a painting is on view until 3 October 2026. A sculpture was permanently installed at the Bibliothek Günther Förg on 2 August 2025.
