The Signal
The fair’s opening day program signals strong institutional engagement from Portuguese foundations and museums through multiple acquisition prizes that directly support participating galleries. Talks organized with DGArtes, WAAU and other partners highlight Lisbon’s role in connecting contemporary art discourse with sustainability, decolonial perspectives and regional biennials such as Anozero and Contextile. Collectors and curators can track which galleries receive the named awards as an indicator of institutional acquisition priorities for the current season.
